The reasons that make us more vulnerable to cyber crime are that the larger population has become totally dependent on the Internet and are prone to divulge personal details, confidential matter, sensitive data and such information that in turn becomes harmful to members and the society if it reaches the wrong hands. According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) cyber-crime involves and encourages piracy and intellectual theft and impacts upon the economy of the country in many different ways. From this discussion, I have learned a lot and realize the enormity and dangers involved in Cyber Crime. I also strongly feel that the Government should take stringent action against people involved in cyber-crime. Creating awareness among the general public about the nature and execution of cyber-crime would help them to become more alert and careful when making use of the internet.
